Incisione (stampa) di Pietro Bonato (), pittore e incisore italiano del Barocco, allievo di Giovanni Volpato, amico di Canova, che, nel , ne fece incisioni su rame (acquaforte e bulino) con la leggenda "FRANCESCO BARBIERI DETTO IL GUERCINO DIPINSE / DOMENICO DEL FRATE DISEGNÒ / PIETRO BONATO VENETO BASSANESE INCISE ROMA /...". Il Guattani nel parla di questo lavoro nelle "Memorie Enciclopediche Romane", affermando che il Bonato stava incidendo le lastre copiando due opere originali del Guercino, che si trovavano nel palazzo di una famiglia d'origini bolognesi, gli eredi Zagnoni. Si tratta di un'incisione di oltre 200 anni. Dimensioni, senza cornice, cm 56x48. Nelle foto anche l'opera di Giovanni Francesco Barbieri (detto il Guercino). Una copia è visibile presso la Biblioteca Nazionale del Portogallo. Il British Museum ne ospita un'altra, di diverso soggetto. In un'asta da Christie's (24 maggio ), Castillo de Bendinat, Mallorca, una incisione del Bonato di analoghe dimensioni è stata battuta a Ptas). L'opera, naturalmente autentica, viene venduta con cornice di spessore cm 5 e vetro. E' visibile in ogni momento prima dell'eventuale acquisto. Data l'età, presenta qualche piccola macchia d'umidità, tuttavia è, nel complesso, ben tenuta.

While that noble dream is well on its way to being realized here, the reality still does not quite feel like art. The work of Bernice Abbott and Robert Frank, referred to in the introduction, provides insights into American life but is also characterized by a particular way of seeing. These books have less the effect of art than of photojournalism-though perhaps the best sort, one encouraging contemplation rather than sensationalism. Unfortunately, the problem lies largely in the nature of series, the constraints of size and format and introduction, which here places as much weight on the editors' vision as the individual photographer's ability to see. That said, these are nonetheless valuable documents of today's middle America, by turns pleasant and disturbing, honest, and mythical. Pratt focuses on the county fairs of the Midwest, the traditions they maintain, and, most importantly, the people who attend them. Arndt photographs men, mostly working class, mostly in crumbling cities, establishing a sense of unity among his subjects that makes it the more successful of the books. Fabrizio Plessi, Biografia Nato a Reggio Emilia nel , veneziano d’adozione, Fabrizio Plessi è uno tra i più noti ed apprezzati artisti italiani contemporanei. La sua ricerca, pur esplorando differenti prassi operative e campi d’applicazione – numerose sono le esperienze dell’artista nell’ambito del cinema, del teatro, del design – ha trovato nella video installazione, spesso declinata in dimensioni monumentali, la forma d’espressione che meglio la identifica. Già titolare della cattedra di pittura presso l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia, nonché dal al professore di “Umanizzazione delle tecnologie” e di “Scenografie elettroniche” alla Kunsthochschule für Medien di Colonia, Fabrizio Plessi ha fatto il suo esordio in ambito espositivo nel , proprio nella città lagunare. Da allora, il crescente interesse suscitato dalla sua opera lo ha portato ad esporre sempre più frequentemente oltre i confini nazionali, conducendo le sue installazioni video nei “templi” mondiali dell’arte contemporanea. Il successo conosciuto dall’artista in numerosi Paesi europei ha avuto tra i suoi esiti una grande retrospettiva allestita nel al Centre Pompidou di Parigi, così come l’invito ad esporre a Documenta 8 di Kassel nel ; negli Stati Uniti ha avuto la sua celebrazione nel con una mostra organizzata al Guggenheim Museum di New York.
