Alleviamo animali da cortile in piccole quantità lasciati liberi in ampi pascoli arborati ( mq), ricchi di rifugi naturali con al centro un piccolo laghetto. Li alimentiamo come una volta: molta erba dal pascolo e quando i prati sono coperti di neve usiamo le ns balle di fieno che vengono divorate come se avessimo delle mucche; mais in gran parte intero e coltivato sui ns. terreni, conchiglie di mare e sassolini di fiume al posto dei sali minerali; proteine e grassi solo vegetali dalla soia. Razze a lento accrescimento molto rustiche in grado di resistere senza ammalarsi anche sotto la pioggia o fuori al ghiaccio. Abbiamo un piccolo macello aziendale dove facciamo tutto a mano con molta cura anche per ceste regalo di massimo pregio: ad es. sette dei ns. capponi sono stati scelti nel dalla Coldiretti come miglior prodotto tipico per il regalo natalizio alla Presidenza del Consiglio (tradizione emulata dalla Francia dove vive da secoli). Nessun uso di medicine, solo vaccini preventivi e le difese naturali che si trasmettono gli animali tra loro da una generazione all'altra (probiotici naturali).
