Si tratta ovviamente di una disponibilità non retribuita, mossa dalla sola passione verso gli animali sfortunati. Si tratta di 8-9 appelli a settimana, ciascun volontario gestisce un paio di siti e la pubblicazione di ciascun appello impiega qualche minuto. Siamo un gruppo indipendente e autonomo che aiuta nelle adozioni prevalentemente del cuore per dare visibilità ai cani anziani e malati che nessuno adotterebbe. Dalla nascita di questo gruppo virtuale siamo riusciti ad accasare moltissimi cani chiusi in canile da una vita, qualcuno addirittura da anni, tutti loro ormai passeranno gli anni che rimangono amati e coccolati. Ma il lavoro è tanto e sono ancora troppi i cani e gatti disperati chiusi nei box che aspettano solo di incominciare a vivere, che qualcuno si ricordi di loro. Abbiamo ancora siti scoperti e siamo certi che potremmo fare ancora di più con la disponibilità di altri volontari. Fare il volontariato virtuale è comodo per chi purtroppo non ha tempo a sufficienza da dedicare ai pelosi in canile, ed è un lavoro fondamentale per le adozioni, è semplice e veloce, ogni volontario decide in quale momento preferisce inserire gli appelli (mattina, pomeriggio, sera) preferibilmente entro i 2 giorni seguenti alla ricezione. Si tratta di un lavoro relativamente facile che deve però essere fatto con costanza e serietà. Le persone che risponderanno all'appello devono quindi essere sicure di poter dare una disponibilità duratura nel tempo, cerchiamo persone affidabili sicure di non tirarsi indietro dopo un paio di settimane.
