Caratteristiche tecniche (in inglese): The Atlas Hyper Integra is a superior asymmetrical or unbalanced design with a well-defined impedance of 75 ohms. The central conductor is made from 80 strands of OCC of % purity and which is insulated by an extremely low-loss foamed polyethylene dielectric. The return conductor is a two-layer braid made from a total of 272 strands of Ultra-Pure Oxygen Free Copper. The double layer of tightly woven wire mesh also provides 100% rejection of radio frequency interference (RFI) ensuring that the music signal is free from any external interference or noise. The conductors are covered by a soft PVC sleeve in a gloss black finish. The Hyper is terminated with exclusive Atlas non magnetic RCA plugs. These plugs benefit from a solder free, cold weld interface between the pure OFC copper co-axial stranded conductors and the plug for both the going and return signals. Being free of solder, another barrier to the free-flow of the signal has been removed. The Integra plug employs two conjugate brackets: Conjugate bracket RCA plug These brackets grip the cable without compressing it. Compressing a coaxial causes the cable to alter its impedance from 75 Ohms thereby causing deletions. In a digital interface the impedance can drop to some 40 Ohms which causes reflections and jitter. The Integra plug lets more information through. The Integra plug with conjugate brackets entirely rejects radio frequency interference all the way from the plug to conductor interface so there's less deletions or interference. It contains four asymmetrical sleeves that are sprung and which spread.

The issue of the transfer of learning from one domain to another is a classic problem in psychology as well as an educational question of great importance, which this ingenious new book sets out to solve through a theory of transfer based on a comprehensive theory of skill acquisition. The question was first studies systematically at the turn of the century by the noted psychologist Edward L. Thorndike, who proposed a theory of transfer based on common elements in two different tasks. Since then, psychologists of different theoretical orientations--verbal learning, gestalt, and information processing--have addressed the transfer question with differing and inconclusive results. Singley and Anderson resurrect Thorndike's theory of identical elements, but in a broader context and from the perspective of cognitive psychology. Making use o a powerful knowledge-representation language, they recast his elements into units of procedural and declarative knowledge in the ACT* theory of skill acquisition. One skill will transfer to another, they argue, to the extent that it involves the same productions or the same declarative precursors. They show that with production rules, ransfer can be localized to specific components--in keeping with Thorndike's theory--and yet still be abstract and mentalistic. The findings of this book have important implications for psychology and the improvement of teaching. They will interest cognitive scientists and educational psychologists, as well as computer scientists interested in artificial intelligence and cognitive modeling.

Vendo ricevitore digitale satellitare NHE SUC-C con telecomando. Non funzionante, da riparare. Si tratta di un ricevitore satellitare common interface dalle elevate prestazioni, di dimensioni contenute, design molto gradevole, completamente di colore silver dotato di una cam UCAS integrata riprogrammabile, motivo principale del suo successo. Ha una buona velocità nel cambio dei canali e nell'accesso al menu principale ed estrema facilità d'uso, grazie anche ad un software molto completo e facilmente intuitivo. L'estrema velocità di questa macchina è dovuta principalmente all'itilizzo della tecnologia single chip. Il ricevitore adotta infatti la famosa cpu IBM POWER-PC a 54MHz, clock 108MHz, 1 Mb di memoria flash e 8 Mb di sdram, posizionati sul lato della scheda madre, di dimensioni ridotte. Il telecomando, di colore nero, è di dimensioni ridotte e permette l'accesso diretto a tutte le funzioni principali del ricevitore.
