Perciò intendiamo, con i nostri strumenti, dare voce a questa rivoluzione e a chi la dirige, cercando di presentarne le posizioni in modo fedele e sottolineandone gli aspetti utili all'obiettivo dei comunisti e dei rivoluzionari del nostro paese, quello di fare dell'Italia un nuovo paese socialista. Pubblichiamo qui la traduzione di un intervista rilasciata da Prachanda, che riunisce in sé le cariche di Segretario del Partito e di Comandante dell'Esercito, al periodico The Worker, organo del PCNm, in occasione del decimo anniversari della Guerra Popolare. (...) E' utile, per noi, analizzare con attenzione la combinazione tra strategia e tattica adottata dal PCNm, anche se il Nepal è un paese molto diverso dal nostro, soprattutto perché il nostro è un paese imperialista, mentre il Nepal è un paese oppresso da un regime semifeudale. Il PCNm ha saputo combinare intervento politico e militare, conservando la specificità di ciascuno, ha saputo condurre la guerra popolare e il confronto politico con gli avversari. Prachanda rivendica l'importanza della partecipazione al Parlamento, prima dell'inizio della Guerra Popolare.
