Kawai MP11

La tastiera più autentica, il suono più realistico, e il controllo più articolato. Kawai MP11 è un pianoforte professionale da palco che non accetta compromessi. La ragione per cui la meccanica Grand Feel viene considerata la più realistica è che adotta molte delle caratteristiche di una tastiera di pianoforte a coda. Una di queste caratteristiche è il movimento ad "altalena" del tasto, per cui premendo la parte anteriore dello stesso si solleva la parte posteriore, che a sua volta muove un martello per suonare la nota. L'esperienza e l'abilità di un bravo tecnico di pianoforte è essenziale per fare emergere il meglio da un pianoforte acustico. Oltre a accordare meticolosamente ogni nota, il tecnico deve anche effettuare numerose regolazioni e intonazioni per permettere allo strumento di "cantare". I parametri di Virtual Technician simulano digitalmente queste rifiniture, per consentire ai pianisti di modellare i vari aspetti del carattere del suono di un pianoforte acustico sino a soddisfare le proprie esigenze. Eseguire le regolazioni del peso del tocco e dell'intonazione, di martelli e rumore di rilascio dei tasti, dell'accordatura, delle risonanze del coperchio e degli smorzatori - tutto in tempo reale. I parametri Virtual Technician sono disponibili anche per i pianoforti elettrici, e consentono a uno strumento di avere un suono logoro e stanco, o nuovo fresco di fabbrica. Alcuni modelli equipaggiati con meccanica RH, ed RM3 Grand, e tutti quelli con RH II, RH III, Grand Feel, Grand Feel II sono dotati di questo meccanismo: producendo una sorta di resistenza in fondo alla corsa del tasto, simula la risposta al tocco del doppio scappamento, tipico dei coda; la sensazione per il pianista è decisamente appagante, soprattutto dopo aver suonato per qualche minuto.
