Being On Top You can choose to correct a single note simply by using the unique "Do-not-process-anything-but-this-note" function achieved via an internal custom scale feature, or type in your personal scale. A Pitch window allows you to specify when a note will be considered out of tune, whereas the Amount control limits the level of Pitch correction added to the audio. The Audio-to-MIDI conversion allows you to keep track of the incoming pitch history and/or correction history, giving you the advantages of being on top of things throughout the entire recording session. The Intonator features full MIDI automation making time based pitch shifting a simple operation. Use your keyboard for real-time manual pitch correction simply by hitting the notes to be processed. Dithering The use of dithering is very important when interfacing digitally between audio equipment. When resolution is changed from higher to lower, dithering is necessary to minimize distortion. The Output resolution of the Intonator is 24 bit, when the receiver of the Intonator signal has a lower resolution, Output Dither must be applied to equal the resolution of the receiver. Premium Converters When converting from analog to digital or vice versa, you should always try to use the full dynamic range of your converters. Even though the converters in the Intonator are 24 bit, analog gain may be applied before the AD's and after the DA's to make full use of them. The analog signal-path is balanced and can carry professional levels. Applications With the Intonator, you can establish a completely digital signal-path for vocal editing and correction. Window, Attack and Amount These three knobs allow you to individualize the processing in detail. The Window knob determines how close to a particular note the source should be in order to be corrected. The Attack knob conducts the response-time before the correction sets in. This will help preserve the artist's personal touch by e.g. allowing vibrato. The Amount knob sets the amount of correction added to the signal. Manual Pitch Use the Manual Pitch control to add pitch correction by hand. The wheel can also be remote controlled by your keyboard modulation wheel or even provide in-sync changes when locked to a sequencer. The De-esser uses a relative threshold technique. This means that the actual threshold is always set according to the average level of the source signal. Consequently, the De-esser always adapts to the incoming signal and maintains the same threshold to the average level regardless of the Input signal. Adaptive Locut The Adaptive LoCut is a pitch controlled LoCut Filter. Instead of cutting off frequencies under a predetermined value, the Adaptive LoCut filter controls the cut off frequencies dynamically in accordance with the incoming signal. Vodafone ha di recente presentato la Vodafone Station 2, ovvero il nuovo Home Gateway wireless evoluto, con Internet Key integrata, fornito in dotazione con gli abbonamenti Solo ADSL, Solo telefono, ADSL e Telefono e ADSL e Telefono Senza Limiti delle nuove offerte Internet e telefono del provider, in promozione online In sostanza la Vodafone Station 2 altro non è che la nuova versione della Vodafone Station, ovvero un modem-router Wi-Fi, ma con importanti innovazioni in termini di caratteristiche e funzionalità rispetto al precedente. Quello che risulta subito evidente è il nuovo ed accattivante design della Vodafone Station 2 (vedi foto), che presenta nella parte anteriore un ampio display LCD a colori da 3.2 pollici sul quale vengono visualizzate 6 icone, corrispondenti alle varie e originali funzionalità del rinnovato Home Gateway di Vodafone. Oltre a nuove funzioni, il rinnovamento ha riguardato soprattutto il potenziamento del Wi-Fi (interfaccia IEEE b/g e n) e la semplificazione nella gestione delle operazioni consentite. La Vodafone Station 2 permette di navigare in Internet su linea ADSL fino a 7 Mbit/s in download e 832 Kbps in uplink, anche se la velocità degli abbonamenti Internet di Vodafone per lâ€(TM)upload arriva attualmente fino a 512 Kbps per tutte le offerte, considerando eventuali riduzioni dovute alla capacità e al grado di congestione della rete, oltre che al server a cui ci si collega. Tutte queste porte, oltre al collegamento wireless, possono essere sfruttare per collegare alla Vodafone Station 2, ad esempio, una stampante, per stampare da qualsiasi PC, anche da remoto, oppure un Hard Disk portatile, collegando il quale si creerà in automatico una spazio per salvare vari tipi di formato di file, consultabili anche se si è fuori casa. Eâ€(TM) anche possibile collegare la TV Solution di Vodafone, sfruttandone appieno le potenzialità. Relativamente al Wi-Fi può essere interessante sapere che vengono offerte cifrature WPA-PSK/WPA-PSK 2 e WEP, con chiavi di accesso rispettivamente a 256 bit e 128 bit. Inoltre la Vodafone Station 2 svolge funzionalità di DHCP server, includendo anche quelle di routing quali NAT, NAPT e altre di ultima generazione. Il firmware risulta essere aggiornabile da remoto, mentre la configurazione e la gestione in locale possono essere fatte attraverso unâ€(TM)interfaccia locale web based, ovvero accedendo alla stessa tramite Internet.
