Performed in over a hundred cities and translated into a dozen languages, it became the most popular opera of this century. Ten years later, however, he found himself a destitute refugee, fleeing to the United States as Hitler's troops invaded Austria. Antica testa in cera con volto di donna, e presumibilmente di Madonna. Lavorata completamente in cera, con evidenti residui di terra e filamenti di stoppa, aggiunti all'impasto. Misura 12 centimetri. Probabilmente risalente agli inizi del '900. Certamente è una testa creata per comporre una statua sacra vestita, da presepe napoletano. An old waxed head with a woman's face, and presumably Virgin Mary. Waxed completely in wax, with visible residues of earth and straw filaments, added to the dough. Measure 12 centimeters. Probably dating back to the early '900. Certainly it is a head created to compose a sacred statue dressed in Neapolitan crib. Une vieille tête cirée avec le visage d'une femme, et vraisemblablement Madonna. Cérail complètement en cire, avec des résidus évidents de filaments de terre et de paille, ajoutés à la pâte. Mesurez 12 centimètres. Probablement datant du début des années 900. Certes, c'est une tête créée pour composer une statue sacrée habillée en berceau napolitain.
