Kegs fly, the toilet paper war commences and students are out on the ledge, literally, when Laura discovers one of her charges, Chris, is missing. As amateur sleuth, she learns some important medical information that turns up the heat on her investigation. The more she looks, the more shady characters arise from the past. Chrisa mother appears to be a loser magnet, with a list of boyfriends who could form Whoas Who in the local prison system. Soon, the students, a campus detective and Lauraas professor boyfriend join in the search. An unexpected betrayal leaves Laura locked up and in the dark. In the face of death, she thinks she knows who is responsible for Chrisa disappearance. Can she escape and is it already too late for Chris?
