Protezione Micio: adozione gattini Marie&fratellini
Matilde è una gatta che vive in una colonia felina. L’abbiamo catturata per sterilizzarla e quindi rimetterla sul territorio, ma abbiamo notato che aveva un bel pancione. Così la micia è stata sistemata a casa di un volontario e qui ha partorito e svezzato senza problemi i suoi gattini, che sono uno più bello dell’altro. Sono anche micini ben socializzati, avendo visto gli umani fin dai primi giorni di vita, e di ottimo carattere: coccolosi, vivaci, divertenti, buffi, combinaguai. Marie, l’unica femminuccia, è la più timidina ma anche lei si sta sciogliendo; Benjamin è il più intraprendente, Konrad scala le gambe per venirti in braccio, Isaac è il più tontolino, affettuoso e amante delle palline. I piccoli cercano una casa con persone motivate che vogliano inserire in casa un vero e proprio membro della famiglia, abbiano del tempo sufficiente a non lasciarli soli troppe ore e possano far fronte alle spese che l’adozione di un cucciolo comporta. Sarebbero fratellini perfetti per altri mici anche perché la loro mamma Matilde è risultata negativa a FIV e FeLV con il test rapido e anche con il test PCR per la FeLV, per più precisa conferma. Questi gattini sono nati attorno al 6 di aprile e saranno adottabili dal 6 giugno, al compimento dei 2 mesi; sono stati spulciati e sverminati come da profilassi. Etichetta ISBN presente interno copertina. Sovracoperta leggeri segni d'uso. Rilegato con sovracoperta - pagine 316 Sprovvisto tagliando prezzo. Nel , Isaac Asimov metteva la parola fine alla sua antologia di racconti sui robot, un classico della fantascienza che è diventato riferimento obbligato per tutti coloro che affrontano il tema dell'intelligenza artificiale. Molti anni dopo, nel , Harlan Ellison costruì su questa raccolta (e su alcuni racconti in particolare, presenti in appendice a questo libro) la sceneggiatura di un film che raccontava le vicende di Susan Calvin, la scienziata creata dalla fantasia di Asimov che dedica la propria vita ai robot e ai loro rapporti con l'umanità. Il film non fu mai realizzato (e l'autore ci racconta nella prefazione come e perche questo avvenne), ma il lavoro di Ellison, arricchito dalle splendide tavole di Mark Zug, resta come esperimento, avvincente e personalissimo, di un Asimov cinematografico che non vedremo mai.

La bellezza di entrambi sta nei particolari: il corpo, in ghisa, ferro o perfino bronzo, era spesso decorato e intarsiato con fantasie, arabeschi e ghirigori - è il caso dei preziosi ferri da stiro che appartenevano a nobili e aristocratici. Un ferro da stiro antico è spesso un portentoso esempio di metallurgia e artigianato, forgiato e decorato interamente a mano con design intricati e sempre unici. Il ferro da stiro è un oggetto a punta, internamente cavo e al suo interno veniva alloggiato il carbone incandescente. Questo veniva alimentato con ossigeno per continuare a bruciare attraverso un soffietto.
