Il gruppo di piante medicinali Kalanchoe è composto da circa 125 specie e in genere sono native delle zone tropicali di Asia, Africa e America. La Kalanchoe Daigremontiana ha foglie carnose, macchiate di bruno, con i margini ricchi di piccoli germogli di nuove piantine. Quando i germogli cadono o vengono asportati e posizionati nel terreno, radicano facilmente e producono nuove piantine. Facile da coltivare in vaso, possibilmente alla piena luce del sole su un substrato fertile e ben drenato.
