E' la migliore Telemetro mai prodotta da Canon in quanto ha un mirino al medesimo livello delle Leica M (molto ampio e luminoso e molto ben contrastato) con cambio manuale delle finestre di mira ( mm); ha inoltre le tendine dell'otturatore in acciaio gommato (eterne) ed un esposimetro con cella cds a doppia sensibilità (alta-bassa) alimentata da pila da 1.35v (quelle pile non sono più in vendita ma possono essere utilizzate, senza differenze di esposizione, quelle da allo zinco-aria 1.40v con adattatore - sono anche molto economiche) La macchina è in perfetto stato funzionale ed estetico: mirino e telemetro pulitissimi e tarati, nuove guarnizioni sportello, tempi di scatto affidabili anche su quelli lenti ed autoscatto funzionante, tendine otturatore perfette. Viene venduta in kit con l'ottica Ottica Canon 50mm f1.8 in perfetto stato funzionale ed estetico con entrambi i tappi (quello frontale è originale). E' un'ottica dalla resa notevole (nitidezza e sfocato), per la quale è spesso paragonata ad lenti Leica dal costo elevatissimo.
