I villaggi dei pescatori offrono la caratteristica ospitalità greca: accoglienza amichevole e una cucina famosa nel mondo. Accompagnati da un leggero vento di maestrale navigheremo su un mare limpidissimo, tra paesaggi variopinti e odorosi di macchia mediterranea, ripercorrendo le rotte di Ulisse verso l'amata Itaca. Visiteremo Lefkas, Skorpios, Kalamos, Kastos, Atoko, Itaca e Cefalonia. Approderemo sulle spiagge di Zante dove le Caretta Caretta vanno a deporre le uova, favorite da un'acqua eccezionalmente calda. E’ quindi facilmente raggiungibile sia da Igoumenitsa, porto di arrivo dei traghetti dall’Italia, che da Preveza, il vicino aeroporto. In traghetto Molte compagnie di navigazione collegano quotidianamente Italia e Grecia. Da Ancona, Bari e Brindisi verso Igoumenitsa e ritorno partono numerose navi al giorno.
