Lo strumento è stato recentemente ripristinato da un liutaio, con la sostituzione del vecchio ponticello, dell'anima e la riparazione di una piccola crepetta di pochi centimetri. Anche le corde sono state sostituite con una muta di Tomastick Dominant, pagata circa 50 euro. Il violino è un 4/4, del tutto regolare nelle misure e molto equilibrato nelle bombature e per questo produce un suono omogeneo e eccellente qualità.
