È un pedale che va da una lieve a una forte distorsione pur mantenendo definizione delle note e grande punch. Due controlli di tono offrono una vasta gamma di possibilità tonali. Uno è per la fascia alta l'altro opera sulle frequenze medie in modo da poter comporre in una moltitudine di suoni distorti. Il DV Mark Over Marker comincia a lavorare dove i timbri più tradizionali della famiglia Tube Screamer terminano la loro corsa. Aanche con il Gain al minimo il suono è bello carico, il timbro è inequivocabilmente riconducibile alla famiglia Screamer ma la saturazione è distribuita su tutta la gamma di frequenze in modo uniforme. Questo aumenta la versatilità dell'effetto che può essere personalizzato con l'equalizzatore dei suoi due toni. Vendo Xotic SL Drive limited edition (solo unità create), il migliore overdrive attualmente in circolazione. Qualche ora di utilizzo, assolutamente nuovo e completo di scatola e fogli illustrativi. È dotato di True-bypass che elimina tutte le interferenze di segnale quando non è attivo. Funziona con una batteria da 9V oppure con un alimentatore CA. Abbinato anche l'Xotic Voltage Doubler per alimentare il pedale a 15 o 18V e dare un headroom extra e maggiore brillantezza. Ispirato ai Marshall Super Lead e Super Bass, l'SL Drive è di fatto una pietra miliare del distortion sound. Il timbro offerto dall'overdrive Xotic è l'ideale per gli amanti dell'hard rock e del blues vecchio stampo. Una distorsione non troppo spinta ma incredibilmente dinamica e sensibile al tocco. L'overdrive arriva dalla fabbrica impostato come Super Lead, settaggio che offre un suono aperto e con maggior gain a disposizione. Passando a Super Bass, la riserva di distorsione cala leggermente, gli alti si ammorbidiscono e i bassi vengono messi più in evidenza per un sound vintage, caldo e meno tagliente, seppure ancora smarcatamente rock. Decades of experience in this particular field of audio electronics are incorporated in our design of these critical parts of the valve amplifier, and excellent specifications can be measured at more than twice the rated output power of 50 W per channel chosen for this construction. Ciao, ti piace il mare? A me si, tantissimo, mi comunica pace e ne percepisco la potenza assoluta. Ci sono creature marine che più di altre comunicano grazia e potenza... la razza per esempio. Grande, pacifica e potente, capace di scatti veloci e nel contempo, col suo movimento alare, elegante e sinuosa come questo amplificatore TECHNICS SU- dal mantello grigio chiaro, argentato il frontale e entrambi veramente molto in ordine. In generale il funzionamento é perfetto. Come la razza è aggraziato ma capace di grandissima forza sonora, ha un cuore scuro grande e pesante, guarda la foto che ne ritrae l interno, un cuore che pompa watt a profusione, 30 per canale per essere precisi, ma 30 watt veri, che sanno pilotare anche i diffusori più duri, chiusi come cozze (sempre al mare torniamo!). Però dall aspetto non lo diresti, sobrio e elegante... dal peso si, pesa un accidente questo ampli. Velocissimo nelle risposte, da una sorgente all altra senza incertezze, senza un rumorino, solo la tua musica. Nessuna dubbio, un amplificatore di razza (razza/razza eh eh! carina questa!), tutti i potenziometri lavorano nel massimo silenzio, idem gli interruttori. Per quanto concerne le funzioni puoi pilotare due coppie di altoparlanti o tutti assieme, regolare alti, bassi e bilanciare il suono, selezionare la sorgente: PHONO, TUNER, AUX, TAPE 1 e TAPE 2 e regolarne logicamente il volume con l enorme e silenziosissimo potenziometro, inserire il loudness, potente! Potrai anche inserire il tasto High Filter, duplicare da Tape 1 a 2 e viceversa (a proposito: il play dei tape sono anche AUX 2 e AUX 3). Sorvolo sulle scale vu meters a led: non voglio infierire e comunque funzionano alla perfezione. Sul retro hai gli otto morsetti a strozzo per le quattro casse, gli ingressi delle sorgenti e i fusibili che proteggono da danni accidentali i tuoi preziosi altoparlanti.
