Vendo cd dei "metallica" dal titolo "st.anger".nuovo e imbustato.posso spedire con posta ordinaria non tracciabile al costo di euro 3,50. pagamento tramite bonifico bancario o servizi postali da concordare.contattatemi pure via email. tracklist: È stato l'ultimo disco del gruppo prodotto da bob rock. le registrazioni cominciarono nel , con rock al basso dopo l'abbandono di jason newsted. in precedenza, il frontman james hetfield aveva affrontato la riabilitazione dall'alcolismo. le prime canzoni furono scritte nell'aprile del , in vecchi depositi di armi della bay area chiamati "the presidio" e convertiti in uno studio di registrazione. invece di assumere direttamente un sostituto di newsted, gli altri metallica decisero di chiamare bob rock provvisoriamente al basso, prima dell'arrivo di robert trujillo. dovettero sospendere le prove nel luglio dello stesso anno, annunciando dal loro sito ufficiale che hetfield aveva allora avviato un programma di riabilitazione da alcol. varie sono state le critiche all'album, solo in ridotta parte con sonorità thrash metal. per molti il disco è stato registrato con una produzione povera e con poche idee per i testi. peraltro la stessa band ha adottato un approccio fresco ed immediato, optando per una produzione più di vecchio stampo. bob rock disse che i metallica volevano rendere all'orecchio l'atmosfera di una registrazione in garage, e a loro detta più vicina agli album anni ottanta. la batteria accordata in modo insolito, i vocalizzi urlanti e la mancanza di assoli di chitarra hanno però messo alla prova molti ascoltatori, accortisi di alcuni cambiamenti stilistici. in particolare c'è chi ha azzardato una somiglianza tra st. anger e diversi dischi alternative metal. d'altro canto c'è invece chi ne ha apprezzato velocità ed aggressività, più vicine al vecchio thrash metal che non all'hard rock/blues di load e re-load. la copertina è stata disegnata per la prima volta da pushead. questi aveva già lavorato al booklet di...and justice for all (), alle copertine di molti singoli e alle magliette del gruppo. l'album fu promosso soprattutto da due tour, il summer sanitarium tour e il madly in anger with the world tour. durante quest'ultimo, terminato nel , furono suonate soprattutto le canzoni "frantic", "st. anger", "dirty window" e "the unnamed feeling". tuttavia in alcuni casi soltanto una traccia era suonata ad ogni live, e dal st. anger non è presentato quasi più nei concerti. caratteristica peculiare degli album ride the lightning, master of puppets,...and justice for all e st. anger che: * la prima traccia sia la più veloce e "thrash style" degli album. difatti si apre sempre con una parte molto melodica, quasi acustica per poi sfociare nella "furia" tipica del genere thrash metal; * la traccia omonima si trovi sempre alla posizione numero 2; tracce 1. frantic - . st. anger - . some kind of monster - . dirty window - . invisible kid - . my world - . shoot me again - . sweet amber - . the unnamed feeling - . purify - . all within my hands - 8:48 formazione * james hetfield - voce e chitarra * kirk hammett - chitarra * bob rock - basso elettrico e produzione * lars ulrich - batteria
