Alzata Gallé

Gli splendidi vetri Gallé hanno sempre incontrato il favore del pubblico, oscurando parzialmente l'importanza delle ceramiche Gallé. Magnifici i primi, delicate le seconde: questa è la differenza fra i due tipi di creazioni. Bisognerebbe ricordare che Emile Gallé () "nacque" come ceramista. Imparò il mestiere sotto la guida del padre, che dirigeva la manifattura di Saint-Clement a Nancy. La vetreria fu avviata successivamente ma la nuova attività non interruppe quella vecchia. Questa alzata di maiolica è frutto della lunga esperienza maturata da Gallé, uomo capace di esprimere la propria creatività tanto in modo fantasioso quanto in forme sobrie ma elegantissime. Abbellito da decori blu su smalto bianco, il manufatto ha 25 cm. di diametro e 12 cm. di altezza. Il marchio è stampigliato all'interno del piede. La maiolica è stata sottoposta a due interventi di restauro. Difetti: si rilevano un paio di lievi fessurazioni. L'alzata proviene da una nota casa d'aste italiane: a richiesta, si fornisce una foto tratta dal catalogo d'asta. Se il manufatto viene spedito, al prezzo d'acquisto bisogna aggiungere 10 euro di spese postali (servizio di Pacco ordinario + imballaggio), che salgono a 15 se è richiesto il servizio di pagamento in contrassegno. Il prezzo di vendita rimane invariato se il manufatto dall'acquirente a Varese, presso il venditore.
