3 PIANTE CITRONELLA CEDRINA VASO 9 PIANTA ANTIZANZARA Pianta profumatissima nota per il sentore intenso di limone ed utile antizanzare, la Cedrina è una delle piante più note in erboristeria: essa è usata generalmente in forma di tisana per ottenere bevande confortevoli e gradite, come componente aromatica in liquoreria, spesso indicata come Verbena odorosa. Sotto il profilo delle proprietà si possono ascrivere alla Cedrina quelle di stimolare l'appetito, aiutare la digestione, eliminare i gas intestinali ed esercitare una blanda azione antispasmodica e sedativa generale. Nella comune pratica casalinga le foglie e i fiori vengono usati, come la Lavanda, per profumare la biancheria. USO INTERNO Le foglie: Come bevanda aromatica di conforto, come digestivo e antispasmodico. Infuso: 1 - 2 grammi in 100 ml di acqua. A tazzine dopo i pasti principali. Tintura: 20 grammi in 100 ml di alcool di 60° (a macero per 5 giorni). Venti - trenta gocce dopo i pasti. Tintura vinosa: 1 - 2 grammi in 100 ml di vino bianco (a macero per 5 giorni). Un bicchierino dopo i pasti. USO COSMETICO Le foglie della Cedrina, oltre a essere utilizzate eventualmente per bagni gradevolmente profumati, deodoranti, stimolanti, possono essere usate, cole la Salvia, per pulire, sfregandoli con una foglia fresca, i denti e le gengive e deodorare contemporaneamente l'alito. Though he completed in draft this short novel, now entitled The Higher Jazz, it was never published. In mid-career, in , Wilson planned a novel in three parts that would carry a man through fifteen years as a stockbroker, a Russian diplomat, and a writer. His hero was instead transformed into a German American businessman who, aspiring to become a composer, seeks the spirit of America in music that combined the contemporary popular and the modern classical, in what Wilson called elsewhere "the higher jazz".
