Pietro Lomuscio in questo suo primo lavoro ha realizzato gli arrangiamenti di noti brani appartenenti alla tradizione jazzistica, standards ben scelti e simpaticamente "manipolati" lasciando trasparire competenza ed originalità nell'effettuare questo lavoro, specialmente nei momenti di raccordo tra i vari brani che vengono suonati in un "unicuum" sequenziale, con variazioni di scena e tessuto ritmico che incuriosiscono l'ascoltatore, senza risultare mai banali o scontati. Valido il lavoro di accompagnamento del trio, con una sezione ritmica sempre puntuale e contestuale, indice di buon affiatamento e conoscenza dei tre musicisti. Nei momenti dedicati agli assoli pianistici si ascolta Pietro che esprime con vigoroso ardore giovanile fraseggi a tratti intrisi di consolidati elementi jazzistici, ed a tratti proposti con acerba ma fresca innovazione personale. Preciso il lavoro armonico del contrabbasso, frizzante il drumming del batterista.
