Il "blank" degli "Early Babbitt" è quasi sempre lo stesso dei Florida U.S.A. (esclusi i primissimi esemplari Florida U.S.A.). Mantiene la stessa conformazione della camera, le stesse "conche" lateriali tra la fine della finestra e della camera. Come sui Florida U.S.A., l'inclinazione del becco è leggermente più bassa (sia rispetto ai Florida No U.S.A.... sia agli Otto Link successivi, denominati "moderni"). Per conservarne l'originalità è stato volutamente scelto di mantere il tipo di facing parabolico e la stessa lunghezza dei facing originali dell'epoca (24 mm!): quel "feeling vintage" è stato assolutamente conservato!!! La resistenza è medio bassa. Si suona tranquillamente con varietà di ance piuttosto vasta (anche moderatamente dure). Il bocchino ha subito il solito lavoretto che Brian fa sugli Otto Link "vintage" e l'apertura è stata aumentata fino a #7* (c'era spazio per arrivare quasi a #9... senza avere un ciglio stile "rasoio"). Il volume sonoro è considerevolmente elevato: sarà che io sono abituato a bocchini un po' più aperti... ma questo esemplare è davvero "esplosivo". Il bocchino è in condizioni funzionali perfette. Esteticamente, si presenta in condizioni molto buone... porta i segni dell'età, ma sono cose cosmetiche. C'è ancora in parte la placcatura... e comincia a intravedersi la classica nickelatura sottostante. Il biteplate è "nuovo", niente segni dei denti.
