Un disco è un disco di peso per i bilancieri olimpionici, quasi interamente realizzato in gomma (anima in ferro e con un anello di acciaio inox al centro che permette di mettere il disco sul bilanciere). Perché dischi olimpici? Nel sollevamento olimpico, l'esercizio finisce con il bilanciere sopra la testa o sulle spalle.
