EUR 350 (riferimento valutazione ebau SENZA l'errore EUR 341) prima edizione mono prima stampa con errori quindi arrestata produzione quando 300 copie erano già sfuggite dalla fabbrica sbagliate. vale a dire rarissima, a differenza di qualsiasi altra delle edizioni che totalizzano 44 milioni di copie questa è la più rara versione in assoluto di sgt. pepper. come riconoscere la prima edizione: la prima stampa ha il blocco parlophone giallo, la scritta sul perimetro dell'etichetta inizia per '' the gramophone co ltd'', l'etichetta ha la la dicitura che inizia per ''sold in the U.K.'' busta interna bianca con dicitura ''patent applied for'', in attesa del brevetto per la busta ''fool'' l'etichetta lato B NON riporta ''a day in the life'' ma sul disco la canzone suona. il titolo With A little help in copertina è sbagliato, manca ''With'' -lucy in the sky la voce ha una eco più marcata che conferisce un'aria più sognante, versione censurata dalla BBC per evidenti richiami alla psichedelia. nelle versioni successive si sente molto meno o niente. -sgt pepper reprise 1)vers. intro 4 battute batteria in più, parlato di John e risate dell'audience che non ci sono in altre versioni. sulla copertina ''with a little help from my friends'' manca il ''with'' inserto cartonato copertina Garrod & Lofthouse EX-/EX-
