Il Pioneer DDJ-SZ è un controller DJ professionista. Con manopole rotanti 8.1 pollici, che offre un controllo preciso sulla miscelazione e graffi. Sotto l'8 pollici manopole rotanti sono hot cue, rotolo, affettatrice, e pulsanti di Sampler. Con le sue grandi prestazioni pastiglie color-coded, i DJ possono aggiungere effetti di varietà alla musica. È dotato di due slot USB in cui due computer possono essere collegati. Questo controller DJ Pioneer è dotato di funzioni come il suono di colore FX e oscillatore che consente ai DJ di produrre campioni di musica innovative. Altre caratteristiche includono la ricerca dell'ago, standby automatico e il software Serato DJ configurato. Da Pioneer non ci aspetteremmo null'altro che componenti e materiali della massima qualità; il DDJ-SZ non fa di certo eccezione, con la parte analogica e quella digitale realizzate apposta per la creazione di segnali audio impeccabili. Per gli effetti hardware si può dire esattamente lo stesso: ve ne renderete conto appena lavorerete con gli effetti generati dall'oscillatore, Cymbal, Horn, Noise, Siren, e quelli cromatici, ossia Echo, Jet, Pitch e Filter. In poche parole: il DDJ-SZ è un controller davvero imperdibile!
